You finally have enough money for that Florida vacation you have been longing for. The excitement is at fever pitch. You want to go to the beach but you still want to enjoy some of the other attractions but you aren't quiet sure where they are. Florida is one of the best places to enjoy many attractions. If you want fun, entertainment, and relaxation Florida is the perfect vacation spot.

Florida, nicknamed the Sunshine State, has long stretches of warm beaches, popular theme parks, and nearly perfect climate to enjoy year round. These attractions have made Florida one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. It's 1,200 miles of the most beautiful sugary white beaches are surrounded by crystal clear blue water. The weather is a constant source of enjoyment with the average temperature staying in the mid 80's in the summer and only dropping to the mid 70's in the winter. Florida's culture is a unique blend of modern Miami culture with a soft touch of southern hospitality that warms the heart and soul.

Florida at it's best is an unforgettable sand and sea vacation that can be everything you want to experience. If you rent a vacation home or beach front condo you can enjoy a variety of activities indoors and out. The sandy beaches and crystal clear waters are always a main attraction where you are in the sunshine state. The cosmopolitan city of Naples can over you leisure rounds of golf. Sarasota can help you gently explore the waterways in a canoe. Fort Myers Beach offers fishing of the highest quality. Tarpon Springs has some of most spectacular seafood you will ever eat.

A great attraction of Florida is the amazing shopping. Miami is a very fashionable city that is literally a melting pot of cultures and this results in a style and fashion that intrigues everyone. Your vacation to Florida won't be complete without visiting "America's theme capital" Orlando. Mickey Mouse originated in Orlando and it is now brimming with popular theme parks, shopping malls, bars, restaurants and some family entertainment.

You will enjoy your Florida vacation so much time will fly. Remember that travel time is necessary when planning your vacation because Florida is a big state. If you visit both Key West and the Florida Panhandle you will need a good amount of time on the road. Only spending one week in Florida will just wet your appetite. You need a full two week vacation to enjoy everything Florida has to offer, and even then you won't want to leave.

If you want to work a little while you are on vacation remember to call ahead to verify the internet connection your hotel offers. Wireless connections are common but it is best to check ahead. Florida vacations are available in the cooler seasons and are not quite as crowded then even though the average temperatures are still in the mid 70's. The cooler season months often offer better service and sometimes even a break on prices. February and October are the popular cooler season months. Some local Florida events to keep in mind if you want a great vacation are the lobster mini season in the Florida Keys, the seafood festival in Cedar Key and NASCAR's Daytona 500 race at Daytona Beach.
